                                  Cancellation Action Against Residence Permit Application and Rejection

Foreigners who want to reside in Turkey should apply to the Immigration Authorities located in the province where they will reside in order to obtain a residence permit. As a result of the evaluation made as a result of the application made according to some procedures, the residence permit card is sent to the residence address of the foreigner. If the application is not in compliance with the legal regulations or if another reason is determined, the residence permit application will be rejected if a decision is made. When the residence permit application is rejected, the applicant, who thinks that the decision is unlawful, can file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court for the annulment of the rejection of the residence permit application.

Legal arrangements regarding residence permit have been made in the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458. There is also a Regulation on the Implementation of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection for the implementation of the same law.
